A demi-semi-quasi-pseudo-autobiographical comedy about fear, deception and the fate of every day objects. A roll of toilet paper spends a lifetime waiting for a moment of action, a bottle opener gets scared, a tripod becomes alive…
Peter is the loudest pantomime of the world. He doesn’t play only one but several roles — he is the coat on the coatrack, the friend of all plants with a self-destructive tendency, prisoner of his own tripod. He dances, interprets songs and cookbooks, plays with umbrellas and basil plants.
What is this show really about? Well… it’s about 60 minutes.
✦ ABOUT THE ARTIST
Peter Shub
Peter Shub has had a distinguished career as an independent actor and director. He has worked with many major international organizations and artists, such as RTL’s Samstag Nacht Show, Köln Comedy Schule, The Philadelphia Opera Company, and Cirque du Soleil.
He performed with Roman Polanski in the play “Amadeus” and received the “Jury Award” at the Cannes International Theater Festival for his comedy “Nice Night for an Evening.” He has been seen on international television shows such as Montreal’s “Just for Laughs.”
Peter has performed in famous circuses such as Roncalli, Knie, and Flic Flac and is the winner of the Silver Clown award at the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival.
